On 18-20 October 2022, the 17th edition of the conference “Lifetime of Power Equipment Components” took place under the auspices of the MIT. The conference builds on sixteen previous successful editions. The event is an opportunity for experts to meet and exchange experiences from research and technical practice.
The central theme is the assessment of the service life of power equipment (turbines and accessories, boilers, steam generators, generators, pipelines, pumps, valves, etc.) in conventional and nuclear power plants with the aim of extending the service life by applying modern diagnostic methods and the results of material and design development.
We would like to thank everyone who came to the beautiful surroundings of the Sumava region of Srní. Many thanks to all speakers and participants for their inspiring contributions, stimulating discussions and friendly atmosphere that accompanied the conference throughout its duration. We also appreciate the cooperation of partners, sponsors and organizers in the preparation and ensuring the smooth running of the conference.
