Project “Center of research and experimental development of reliable energy production” (CESEN)

In 2012, VZU Plzen become the leading partner of one of the most complex research projects in its history – “Center of research and experimental development of reliable energy production” (CESEN), co-financed by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TACR) within the Competence Center Program. The eight-year project teamed up eight industrial partners and research institutions with a strong focus on the applied material research in the energy sector. The cooperative endeavor of all partners has resulted in more than 200 innovations out of which many have been already put into commercial use.

Following the successful results of the CESEN Final Evaluation Report, we would like to take this opportunity and thank both industrial and research partners for the long-term excellent cooperation and TACR for its continuous support and encouragement of the applied research in the Czech Republic.
